Open Quote This school is pathetic. Not a very single-parent friendly place. Most of the staff is extremely lazy & inattentive. No one there takes ownership for any responsibilities. The so-called athletics department is the worst. The coaches are disorganized and believe in the criticism approach rather than the compliment for trying approach. The PE coaches do not preplan for after school activities and do not communicate to parents or the students. Their website still has information from last year. The 6 graders are treated like dirt as if they're an inconvenience to the school for being there. The 6 graders are discriminated and bullied by the staff and faculty members. The cafeteria staff members are rude and actually harass students. The school is run like a business. If it means money they’ll send fliers and emails and voicemails but otherwise the parents and students are left in the dark. The school does not provide any safety for the students involved in any after school activities. The teachers complain all the time about how many students they have and that the subject they are teaching is not their primary subject. Stay away. Stay away. Stay Away if you can. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
