Open Quote PASSION TO HELP EACH AND EVERY STUDENT SUCCEED IN LIFE...In addition to the the terrific teachers and staff.....parental involvement, volunteers and mentor's make themselves known and readily available to assist and guide the students. There are a number of after school programs available for students that are geared to assist the students in their academic achievement and what it is, that is unique for each individual. To assist and help guide them and think about not only what college undergraduate programs are suitable and available early on but to encourage them ...there is but one option and that is getting them prepared for the job market whether it is Trade school or college and help all students prepare themselves. Open Quote Great school! It really is the total package when it comes to High Schools; outstanding academics, athletics, student clubs and associations. The faculty is accessible and eager to partner with parents to ensure the young adults graduating from this school have every opportunity. Additionally, the faculty pushes students to excel at Plant, when they talk about strength of schedule here they mean the students class schedule not the football team's, although they play state champion level football too. When we moved to Tampa I looked for a house in this school's district. I feel it is the best decision I have ever made for my two children, both currently enrolled at Plant. If you are looking for a school in Tampa and have not looked at H.B. Plant High School you are missing something. Close Quote
