Open Quote We expected much more from this school. The teachers are mostly absent from caring. There are of course a couple of exceptions, but would not recommend this school. Close Quote

Open Quote PGa is a school that I wouldn’t recommend it to any one . If you are looking for a school that actually teach the student the way they need to be taught , than Glades is not a good school to place your kids . Communication is horrible , taking things to administration when things are not properly done correctly or any concern related truly is a waste of time because for them everyone is amazing . They never understand anything but what they wish to understand knowing that thing are how Parent are continuing to complain about Only because the school has an A doesn’t mean they are performing , truly the school grade doesn’t truly match the way things are being done inside of those classrooms . In addition the school doesn’t believe in activities but keeping the kids busy all year around , including winter break , spring break etc . Kid don’t have time to breath , they have quiz and test every week. Some teacher explain things fast that they don’t care if they are getting it properly but are fast to complain when the thing are not going their way but they aren’t quick to ask how can we help this child do better . Also the kids don’t get nothing else to reinforce what they might be lacking just a bunch of busy work that doesn’t help at all. The grading scale is another huge problem when you have teacher who aren’t that great no mater their year of experience . They make your kids take mandatory classes that are just adding another load of busy work which end up not helping like they think it will . Both elementary and middle not sure how certain teachers are there teaching our kids but it’s saw how much administration love those type of teacher who truly are just a proper fit for those grade they are assigned to teach . They also hire teacher who know nothing about the subject or
Are weak in teaching the subject so if you are child is an average kid the chances are landing in those intensive classes are high because they don’t do nothing to help other than having them read chapter book which they swear by it to help the kids . They don’t care about anything and there are better charter schools or even public that actually work the way they need for our kids . Don’t give yourself a headeach and find out about about the school and don’t buy everything they try to tell you . You will fall in love but the school is not great like the first year . The school for both elementary grades 4-5 really poor and secondary very scary. Student continue to leave because how the school continue to get . Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
