Open Quote A school should have enough space for the kids to sit in classes that they can see the board and the teacher. A student should not feel like if he talks during lunch he will be punished. A parent should not feel like the principle is doing him!
This principle takes pride in knowing everyone's name, but not a bit concerned for their feelings or well beings of the students or the teachers. Teachers should not be made to feel abused for doing their jobs.

all of this happens at Ben Gamla and much more. Ask former students and former teachers that are now not scared to voice their opinions and concern for your child.

your child deserves better! Close Quote

Open Quote I have my daughter going here for 3rd grade. We moved from Maryland over the summer and we were hoping that a charter school would be better then a public school.
Unfortunately we were wrong. I'm not sure if it's the state of Florida or the school but they do not push the students. What she was doing in first and second grade in Maryland public schools she is just starting here. I'm pretty shocked because I now feel that she is going to be behind other states in-terms of education. The only thing they added to third grade seems to be science which she didn't have too much of in 2nd grade in Maryland but the Math, Reading and Social studies subjects she is doing now in third grade are at first and second grade level in Maryland. About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
