Open Quote The teachers in this school are in a coma and the poor children reflect it. I have never seen such level of apathy and fear on the part of the teachers. Something is really wrong with this school. I would not recommend this school to anyone who cares about their children. Close Quote

Open Quote My granddaughter has just started kindergarten there, she was excited to start, but now she is not happy, she is a happy child, very loving & she wants to be a helper in her class but the teacher never lets her help. I believe the teacher has a personal problem with my grandchild, I am very very unhappy with the attitude of the teacher. The teacher got in her face, now my granddaughter is 5 years old, new to going to school & she truly loves all people & has been raised to respect adults, & yelled at her for the way she was washing her hands! I believe this is going a little overboard. My sister is a school teacher for 1st graders & I explained some situations to her & she stated that the teachers are to teach, train & be loving towards all children no matter the race, poor, rich or anything!! My daughter works with small children & has a huge heart towards all children, she DOES NOT choose one over the other. I told my daughter to go & have a meeting with the teacher & principle, my sister agrees. I am very upset over the situation, I do not recommend this school to anyone. The office personnel is very rude!! Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
