Alexander Dawson School

As a student at Dawson who started last year, moving to this school has been a well made decision. The small class sizes allow for one on one time with the teacher so students can develop a strong understanding of the material. Also, Dawson is a very inclusive community and everyone, grades k-12, gets along with everyone.Also with a wide variety of sports, academics, and languages, one can never stop learning!

After 11 years at Dawson I am more pleased than ever with the high quality education and supportive teachers. My 3 kids challenged themselves in all areas including leadership opportunities and traveling the globe. Experiential Education enabled them to travel to China, Turkey and Spain while submerging themselves in foreign cultures. My kids varied extra-curricular interests were met through kayaking, golf and speech and debate. The College Counselors were very helpful navigating through the college application process finding the right college. Dawson is awesome!

We are beginning out fourth year at Dawson and couldn't be more pleased. The school provides a solid, well-rounded education for the kids, while also ensuring emotional growth and stability. The teachers really care about the students and go above and beyond should a child need extra support. They set the bar high and the kids meet their expectations! The kids thrive there and look forward to going to school (at least in our Lower School experience). In fact, never have we had a day when we have had to push our daughter to go. She wants to be there and loves it! The kids are great as well. They are kind, silly, fun-loving, happy....everything children should be. The school encourages kids to be themselves. And the parents are also an integral part of the school--participating as much or as little as they like or can. Dawson is the best choice for our family.

We are about to start ouf 7th year at Dawson. We could not ask for a better place to educate our kids. Not only academically but socially. Alexander Dawson truly spends time on well rounding the child. The teachers and community are amazing as well. :0)

Excellent school, we have three kids attending Dawson and they all love it. Wonderful community, from teachers, students and parents. Great arts program and the sports program is getting stronger. Many opportunities to travel with the school in their Winterim, from Europe to the everglades. Great class trips in High School and Middle School.
