We have been at NVCS for 3 years. They do a great job at not letting students fall through the cracks. Staff at NVCS ensures that every student is receiving the support they need to succeed. We have students on opposite ends of the learning spectrum, so finding a school who can grow both gifted and talented and our student who needs extra help was important. New Vision has high standards for their students and staff. Behavior that is allowed to persist in other schools is addressed at NVCS and they take school safety very seriously. The focus on educating the whole child is something that makes them stand out as a school, and their commitment to a safe learning environment is something that sets them apart from other schools in the district. 1. Discriminators.
#2. Prejudice.
#3. Favoritism is huge at this school.
#4. Educators - hit or miss...
#5. Staff - hit or miss as well unless your up to par "the in crowd".
#6. Driveline is horrible - from drop off to pick up, waiting in line one hour to an hour & a 1/2 is outrageous. What a waste of time when having to deal with all the above.
Not what we expected nor anticipated! Very unhappy, displeased and disappointed.
There are other schools here in Loveland that show more respect and accept you as you are and give you more time before and after school to spend with your loved one's. Close Quote

I have two kids who attend this school and a third that will be attending in the future. The teachers and administration are all open and caring and genuinely care about my children and their future. The education is top notch and the school does a fantastic job of also promoting civic awareness and responsibility. Close Quote

I was thought that school was a happy place where curiosity was developed among children. But not in our case, this school was a perfect description of verbal and emotional abuse that came from school, staff and students. The school created such an unpleasant environment for both of us. The things that they have done continued to be a nightmare for us. They did so much damage to our family, that I could not wait when this year would be over and we could move on to a new school, far away from their dysfunctional environment. This is what they do. They find a child that may be not confident, may be from a low-income household, may be a single parent household, may be African-American descend (FYI: there are no black kids there), and they start picking at him/her until they are mentally/psychologically/emotionally broken. Please do not take away your child’s happiness and desire for learning, curiosity, love, peace and balance. Please be your kids’ advocate, and follow your intuition. Close Quote

Our children have attended NVCS for 6 years. We chose the school for the core knowledge curriculum (not to be confused with common core), the K-8 consistency and community feel (2 classes per grade = teachers know their students!). We stay because our kids love going to school and the teachers are talented and supportive. Highly recommend you take a tour to see if NVCS is a fit for your student, of any age. Due to the confusing schedules, unnecessary rules and systems, and lack of student motivation and expression, I would not recommend this school to middle schoolers. Even I couldn't take what New Vision Charter School throws at their students. Close Quote

The classes at New Vision are overall very positive, catering to all learning styles and providing an environment where learning & succeeding go hand in hand.
