As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote My friend's kid goes to this school and just heard about a very disturbing story that happened to her son as a disciplinary action this past Monday. Apparently they were out on field day (Pre-k) and to correct his behavior they locked him in a closet. When the principle was confronted their response was "Did he tell you what he did? What can we do to improve our school?" No action a child can do deserves to be treated this way! You typically lock a dog up if they misbehave but not a human being, not a 5yr old child. So upset by this incident. Close Quote

Open Quote My Daughter has done poorly in this school. I have four children, my youngest daughter currently attend. When my old children attended this school it was great. The teacher's were really experenced and loved to teach. Now the teachers are all newer teachers or burned out. They seem stressed and unhappy. My daughter struggles with math and has received poor support. She is continually stressed out, is on acid reduction medication for anxiety. She says her math teacher makes her feel stupid and doesn't feel comfortable asking him questions. We are counting the days until 6th grade ends. We look forward to a new school that will hopefully renew our daughters love for learn and build her self confidence. Close Quote

Open Quote I went to this school for 7 years. The food was absolutely awful! However, I would say 7 out of 10 teachers are nice. Which is good I guess... Also, there are a lot of strange students in my opinion. I would not really recommend this school for anyone the least bit different. Although, I was never bullied or was a bully, I saw a lot of bullying. So this school is not really bad. Just not the best in my opinion. Even though you may learn a lot by the brilliant teachers the students here are pretty rude and the food sucks. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
