As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote My daughter has gone to school at RMP for two years (K & 1st). We've had a great experience there, and the teachers are really great and very involved/invested in their students. I don't believe the Student/Teacher ratio is accurate on this website. There are 28 students in my daughter's class with one teacher and one assistant. There is always a teacher and assistant in each class, and 25-28 is an average size class from what I have seen.
Pros: They have great programs and the kids get exposed to a variety of after school activities to choose from. There is a great diversity of cultures represented and the school promotes and celebrates differences and how we can learn from each other. All students (scholars) get to learn and participate in Art, Science and even Dance! I really enjoy how their PEAK values are encouraged (Perseverance, Excellence, Adventure, Kindness) and rewarded.
Cons: There seem to be a lot of behavior issues with a good handful (or more) of kids. RMP tries to enforce disciplinary measures, but I don't think they take action soon enough. At least 3 kids have been expelled since we've been here. Also, my daughter was subject to some vulgar behavior/language in kindergarten from a couple kids who were out of control. We complained a few times with the school leader about it but didn't see anything change.
Overall I think this is a good school and my child has grown and done well there. The main thing I'd like to see change is the way they handle troubled and out of control kids. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
