Open Quote It has been 3 weeks since I removed my daughter from Trinity. While this was a hard decision, it was definitely the best decision I could have made. Trinity’s website prides itself for having small classes, a custom education plan and providing your child with the best opportunity this is not the case at all for first grade. The first grade class was small, yet the teacher was unable to work with each of the students. My daughter was not the only one to leave the class this year, another child’s parents removed their son as well. There was no support system for the kids, the teacher was not approachable, and did not have the children’s best interest in mind.
As an alumni, myself, I knew Trinity was the answer when I signed my girls up for school. Seeing what this teacher did to my daughter’s self-esteem and emotional health was sickening. I reached out to the board to explain the situation, and have yet to receive a response. The rest of the teachers at the school have been amazing, in fact my youngest still attends, but if the board can’t take a moment to respond, do they really have the children’s best interest at heart? We will be finishing out the semester before we say good bye to Trinity forever. After 26 years, a number of my family attending, it’s sad to see a school treat a 6 year old in such a manner. It saddens me so much as the kindergarten program was amazing. I have nothing but great things to say about each and every teacher that came across my both my daughters’ paths during their first years.
My daughter is thriving at her new school. All she needed was a teacher that cared. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
