I highly recommend St. Peter's Montessori school for primary and elementary aged children. Watching St Peter's Montessori elementary class (grades 1 and up) in action is like watching someone very organized home-school her children. The children are presented lessons in small groups or individually, and work with one another to complete their learning goals. You might see two children working on a geography lesson, while a few others are preparing a snack, another small group is working in the library, and the teacher is presenting a new concept to another small group. Each group is working on something real and concrete to master their area of study. Academically, the students here are years ahead of other schools. The children here work cooperatively, and enjoy having freedoms not experienced in more traditional schools. Close Quote
