As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote My son currently attends this school until winter break, this school is horrible. From the first day of school I have had nothing but problems. First it was me requesting to have the address changed, something simple right? Wrong, even after showing both my drivers license and lease agreement the address still has not been changed. Then it was my son being sick, so I called the school to inform the and they still marked him truant. I called the school to request it be corrected, the day I called they marked him absent again! Even though he was in school. Next there was raining outside and my son calls me and says mom we are standing in the rain, so I called up to the school to find out what was going on, and for the fourth time this school year the same lady got very nasty with me on the phone, " I don't know, why don't you call the bus company". So I called the district as I usually will after no getting in resolve with this school and as of yet no phone call to follow up has occurred. I really would recommend you think long and hard before placing your child in this middle school! PV district is great, but this school is horrible. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
