Open Quote While I feel my child has learned a lot while at Montessori, the teachers are unprofessional and the staff are children themselves. Also, don't look for consistent accurate reports on your child's day or follow-up from the administration. Their actions reflect lack of organization and urgency. As a parent, I cannot recommend this school. Close Quote

Open Quote The turnover rate for teachers (lead teachers and aides) is far too high. Facilities are adequate, but do not make up for inconsistency in care. I cannot recommend this school. Close Quote

Open Quote My child has attended this school since she was 3. She is currently in the 2nd grade and is doing long division and learning the periodic table. This school has allowed my child the freedom to excel in her strengths and go beyond the limited knowlegde "scheduled" for that day as would occur in public school. The elementary program is expanding and I'm very excited for the future not only for my child but the school as well. Close Quote

Open Quote Both my children attend this school and are thriving. My son is now in 1st grade and doing things more advanced than his 3rd grade cousin. I am so impressed with the dedication of the staff, the facilities, and thier commitment to Montessori principles. Close Quote

Open Quote The director is inconsistent and often fires teachers and staff. My child had 5 different teachers and aides in one 4 month period. This is also not a true Montessori school. It is not accredited. They facilities are acceptable and they have had adequate summer programs. Their elementary school will put your children behind when they enter the public school system. About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
