Open Quote We looked at the local public schools and decided to send our daughter to Holy Spirit Catholic School which is part of MCPS. We could not be happier! The faculty is wonderful and cares about each child. The principal knows every student's name and greets them at drop off. Holy Spirit and MCPS is not just a school but a community. There are sports offered through the school in 3-6 grade, band and choir. We highly recommend Holy Spirit! Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
