Open Quote This is an excellent school. I do believe that they should promote and reward academic excellence on a GPA scale that begins with 3.0 and above. Due to the fact that when you are selecting colleges or universities to attend they ask your GPA not whether it is a GPA of 3.0 that was rewarded because you made 2 C's verses a GPA of 3.0 with one "C". The counselor should revisit this scale or attend a workshop because this system appears to be a bit out of date and touch with the real world.

The Principal needs help with his comments and to encourage the students more, I know that this is high school and believe that more kids need it here than in other areas. This is a pivitol moment is their lives where some don't want to go on and many wonder what is their purpose in society. This school can provide a place of academic standards and set the pace for becoming great young men and women. Our children have really enjoyed their attendance there and so have many others who we have discussed the school with.

The instructors are more long term and with a course outline that is adhered to from year to year would help out tremendously....

Let's go forth and see what a new year holds, the work environment and academics give our children an opportunity to multi-task and do it well. We are thankful for the opportunity afforded to our children. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
