As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote In the school year of 2012-2013 we have already had 8 students be sent to alternative school. 1 for fighting, 1 for sagging, 1 for stealing money from students and teachers, and 5 for knifes and razor blades. In two cases the blades were used. One kid cut 7 people and three of them were cut twice. The other stabbed a boy in the leg. The boy who was stabbed in the leg stole 2000 dollars cash from a student and the crime went unsolved and unpunoshed. The money was for an out of country field trip. A coach was arrested for having sex with and sexting at least 7 confirmed students. 4 days ago there were two fights. What will be done about the schoolthat has a sign in every bathroom that says not to flush dip down the toliets. Why are they allowing us to dip. Another coach and the one who was arrested smoked weed with at least 5-15 football players. There are also racism towards blacks and whites written on walls along with satanic symbols. All of this has happened in less than a 4 month period... Where's the peace? Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
